| | Engineering Services
The Engineering Department is responsible for the maintenance of all the NAS facilities in the Cargo Terminal as well as the Airport. In addition to maintenance, the Engineering Services Department is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of the ground handling equipment like the ASU, ACU, GPU, Pushbacks, water waste management systems etc used to support aircraft.
NAS is accredited with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval. The approval (EASA Part 145) gives NAS the capability to certify aircraft and perform maintenance and operations checks on aircrafts like the A380 and more. EASA is the aviation safety agency that ensures common safety and environmental standards at the European level.
Our aircraft mechanics division comprises highly qualified engineers and mechanics with varied industry experience and will soon receive the EASA 145 from the European Aviation Safety Agency to offer CRS to aircraft.
The Ramp Services team at NAS has experience in handling almost any type of aircraft; both passenger as well as cargo. Our team has also handled a number of military aircraft en route to Iraq.
The NAS Line Maintenance Building strategically located in the ramp area of the aircraft caters to almost all the technical requirements of aircraft. The building houses a technical store, staff resting areas, operational control center and a communications center equipped with the latest in radio, fax, internet, SITA and Flight Information & Display systems.
